Four seminars featuring speakers knowledgeable about navigating the path to becoming a physician will be offered again this summer. These seminars and panel discussions are intended for college students who are working on our campuses and are interested in a career in medicine.
All seminars will be held in Riley Hospital Outpatient Center, Ruth Lilly Learning Center conference rooms A and B. There series is free and participants are welcome to bring their lunch. Each session begins at 12:00 noon and ends by 1:00 pm. The schedule is as follows:
Session 1, Thursday, July 5, 2007: Undergraduate Preparation for Medical School, Robert M. Stump, Jr., Director of Admissions
Session 2, Thursday, July 12, 2007: Life as a Medical Student, Medical Student Panel
Session 3, Thursday, July 19, 2007: Careers in Primary and Specialty Care, Physician Panel
Session 4, Thursday, July 26, 2007: Financing Medical School, Jose Espada, Director of Student Financial Services
